Nak Won House was the first stop for many Korean citizens and tourists when they arrived in Seoul. For 34 years, the well-known 24-hour restaurant on Vermont Avenue and Olympic Boulevard has been offering Korean cuisine to the public. Nak Won was a well-known Korean restaurant that provided traditional dishes such as suhllungtang and bibimbap, among others.

It was compared to Denny’s, a family-friendly restaurant that supplied acceptable meals to Koreans at all hours of the day and throughout the day. Nak-Won serves authentic Korean dishes. Also, we enjoyed bowls of sundubu Jogye (tofu stew), Gyeran Jjim, and tteok bokki (stir-fried rice cakes). There were many sides, including pickled cloves garlic, pickled ginger, sweet marble potatoes, and everyone’s favorite kimchi.

Some samgyupsal barbecues use thin slices of pig, while Nak-Won uses large pieces of premium pork instead. Although it’s a buffet, only-samgyup is a lot better.

It’s exciting to cook your own meals, but it’s also pleasant to have a ready-made meal on hand. We had Jjampong (hot seafood noodles) as our final meal. This will excite those who love spicy food and also give us the opportunity to try some Kimchi. Nak-Won’s Jjamppong is my favorite. It has a large pot of mussels, squid, and vegetables in a red hot broth. Be aware! In case of spicy situations, it’s a good idea to have some soju handy.

Consider ordering from all of Nak Won’s key categories to get a good sampling of the restaurant’s offerings. Ddukbokki and Korean fried chicken wings or pork bulgogi were featured on the menu.

Large or small quantities of mandoo or scallion pajun are available.We could see from the larger servings that they would be suitable for a modest family. Menu items are only offer for one length: big. In addition to rice and lettuce wraps, the pig bulgogi was served with a few banchan accompaniments.
